Spring Break Extra Credit

You know you want it...
You have to have it...
You really need it...

It's your Spring Break Extra Credit Exercise!!!!!!! Woo Hoo!!!!!!

Okay, here we go, in order to get some good extra credit (as in boosting you a letter grade) do the following over spring break.

You will design a logo for your Super-Hero-Alter-Ego self.
Your usage of shapes, forms or letters for your logo must visually communicate, support,
and convey the ideas about your super powers and extraordinary attributes.
You must use at least one of your Initials. You can not spell out your name.

Research:
-Pick a super hero identity for your self
-Choose at least 5-8 one-word descriptions about your super hero identity.
(initials, powers, physical attributes, ideas, personality, arch enemies, motives, etc...)
-Taking the one-word descriptions, think of images and shapes that represent the word
then combine the different shapes and images to create different logo compositions (comps)

When you return from Spring Break:
-Sketch a minimum of 3 different directions of these logo comps
-Present your logos in black marker pen or pencil
-Logos will be only in Black & White. No color or Grayscale values
-No computer can be used for these comps. Rough sketches only

Prepare for your logo presentation:
On a separate sheet of paper list and explain about your super hero identity. This can be hand written.
(secret identity, powers, weeknesses, origin, costume, motives, etc...)
Descriptions of your ideas, concepts, and thoughts about your logo direction

Here is an example of logo comps for a company with the initials TSSC...
